Tank on the Moon

Tank on the Moon recounts the incredible story of two small robots sent by the Soviets to the moon. Designed in utmost secrecy by Soviet laboratories in the 1960's,  this is one of the greatest technological achievements in the history of the USSR.  For sixteen months, these "Lunokhods", remote-controlled from the Earth, traveled more than thirty miles over the Moon's surface!

With the declassification of the former USSR space archives, along with recollections by several of the key participants in the Lunokhod program, the true story of the Russian lunar robots, which remained secret for more than two decades, can finally be told!
