IPV: SURVIVORS SPEAK UP

They are six young women, aged 20 to 29. During their teens or twenties, they all suffered from controlling, abusive and destructive relationships. Today, they have decided to break the silence by sharing their personal stories.

Speaking out is not just a way to help them recover from their traumatic past, but also to help others spot the warning signs of intimate partner violence (IPV), that can sometimes take hidden and insidious forms. Through their brave, moving and revolting testimonies, this film aims to unravel the dynamics and patterns of abuse - whether psychological, verbal, sexual, physical…

This poignant documentary is above all feminist tool designed to address, prevent and combat an all-too-frequent yet still little-recognized form of violence.
