Who really are the FEMEN women activists? Well known for using their body as "weapons" of communication, these Ukrainian girls are today the new face of feminism. They have become internationally known for organizing topless protests against sex tourists, religious institutions or sexism.
This documentary tells their story and their combat, from Ukraine, to Bielorussia, rest of Europe and then Egypt and Tunisia. Their message and methods are shocking to most, but the film sheds light on their real intentions, the ideology behind and how they recrute what they call "women warriors".
Their movement has waken up women from the Middle East and today has many followers. They are young (under 25) and are not ready to give up their combat against women’s oppression, even if it means prison, exile, or putting their lives in danger.
