Before being an earthly paradise with enchanting colours, the lagoon of New Caledonia is above all a paradise for sharks. But not just any sharks: they are used to being considered as fearsome predators, they are essentially opportunistic scavengers.
After the flood of documentaries and fictions describing sharks as formidable predators, this film, shot over four years, intends to restore the sharks' reputation and to put them back in their true scavenger roles, which are essential to the balance of the marine ecosystem.
