What exactly is cheating? What crosses the line? Are you truly being unfaithful if you just kiss someone else? Is emotional cheating worse than physical affairs? Does the problem lie in the act itself, or in the lies and sneaking around? And what can be considered a stable relationship nowadays?

Although monogamy is still considered to be the norm, more and more people are wondering if it’s still an ideal relationship in modern-day societies. All kinds of new relationship status are emerging – open relationship, polyamory, situationship... Nevertheless, infidelity remains a sensitive and complex subject. When the debate gets underway, we find that opinions differ on what is considered to be cheating.

A dozen interviewees of different ages, genders, sexual orientations and social backgrounds are ready to share their experiences and points of views. Single or not, in a monogamous, polyamorous or open relationship, they all have experienced infidelity at some point in their lives - whether cheated or cheater. By tackling this intimate subject with an open heart and no taboos, this film will question our conceptions of modern love and challenge the ideal of romantic and sexual exclusivity.
