Thanks to archives, some of which have never been seen before (testimonies, personal notebooks, reports), this film will describe this milieu where people dance while the old world is sinking. It tells the story of how diplomats grasped the danger of National Socialism and tried in vain to alert the world to the rising perils and realities of Nazi Germany, without really being listened to.
