In the Marquesas Islands, on the island of Hiva Oa, Vohi Brown is one of the last horsemen. Cars have gradually replaced horses, so the young Marquisian resists and continues to travel on horses and live with his animals.
Vohi tries to make other young people aware of the importance of this ancestral link with their environment. He was born and raised in Ua Huka, the Marquesas Island where horses still live in a semi-wild state and where this equestrian tradition is more preserved.
After 20 years, he decided to return to his native island with Poco, one of the youths of Hiva Oa. This trip is a return to his own history, and an opportunity to pass on to Poco this passion and way of life that he fears may disappear.
