The acrobat life

In 2007, the acrobat and balance artist Silke Pan became paraplegic after falling down from her trapeze. Today, she is a high-level handcyclist – a sport which helps her to exorcise her suffering. Supported by her husband and former circus partner Didier, Silke leads a life punctuated by intensive training. But, as she prepares to qualify for the Tokyo Paralympic Games, her desire to become an acrobat again is stronger than ever.

With a rare sensitivity and poetry, Coline Confort’s first film portrays an aerialist at heart, driven by unfailing determination and incredible resilience.
