For three weeks, between lake and mountains in the spa resort of Évian-les-Bains (near Switzerland), a group of men and women - regular visitors - take time out to relax, treat themselves and take care of themselves. It's a unique and necessary interlude for these devotees.
It's an ephemeral microsociety that comes together to regenerate and reflect on its condition. A meditative journey, where aging bodies are choreographed, drenched in water and wrapped in bandages.
The director draws his material from a source of well-being, gently filming the silences and words of these men and women who confide in each other, show themselves, and reveal a little of their sometimes dented lives.
