April, 15th 2019. On this day, fire ravaged Notre-Dame cathedral, in the core of Paris. Today, it has given place to a huge archaeological site, gathering more than 200 experts and historians alongside architects in charge of its restoration.
They all share one goal: to unlock the secrets of this marvelous cathedral’s structure, as to revive its soul, its light and its sacredness. But how can you restore a monument when craftsmanship that presided over its construction is long gone? How to reconcile scientific research with the urgency of a highly symbolic project?
Thanks to cutting-edge science, including a 3D digital model, researchers will be able to decipher the last secrets of Notre-Dame’s construction and rewrite its history - in order to save it. A unique immersion in the largest restoration project of the century.
