For the first time ever, a camera has managed to film in the mining areas of the Katanga province, where Congolese miners who go 150 feet underground, daily, for the paltry sum of 1 dollar per day. This poignant documentary demonstrates how the young Congolese democracy is striving to establish long-lasting redistribution of mine resources, as well as an efficient government and effective education for the masses.
