On the Indonesian island of Sulawesi, the people of this rainy region live mostly thanks to fishing. Alhim lives here with his family in a floating house. His family is surrounded with legends. They consider and treat a varanus - named Ali Douvoung - as a true member of their family.
One day, Alhim’s son Suardi breaks into tears: his twin sister Ali has disappeared… To get her back, Alhim must take on a long journey to the kingdom of Goa.
